The Trasna ceilidh band from Co. Antrim was formed in 2003 and aims to provide the best in traditional music for Irish and Scottish dancing. The name "Trasna" means "across" in Gaelic and symbolises the band's desire to reach across all cultural boundaries with our traditional music and dance entertainment. The band works with dance teacher Máire, who acts as caller for those occasions where people need a little help with the traditional dance steps.
